Description

Running Eagle Falls is a great first stop in Two Medicine. After a winding drive entering the Park, these falls are a good place to stretch your legs for an easy walk on a short hike to a scenic falls. At first a paved path leads through local trees and undergrowth, where moose may be spotted. The path opens to a clearing of a dry riverbed adjacent to the Two Medicine Creek. The paved path forks left for an accessible view of Running Eagle Falls, also called Trick Falls, because the water appears to flow from a large alcove in the rock face.

The right fork leads over loose river cobbles and a bridge over the river. Continue up the embankment to the end of the trail and an excellent viewpoint to marvel at the falls. You may return the way you came, but come back changed.
