A great Sedona route that ends on a natural bridge... 54 feet up in the air!

Features Views

Family Friendly Fun view for kids and great photos on top of the bridge.

Overview

This trail is a fun tour that is short but mighty. It provides a great view of the Sedona red rocks from the top of Devil's Bridge and is fun for the entire family. It also provides the thrill seekers some excitement with the fact that the bridge is only five feet wide but spans 45 feet long.

Need to Know

The trail technically starts about 1.3 miles from this trailhead but, unless you have a 4x4 vehicle, you cannot drive to the trailhead. So, park in the parking lots just off of Dry Creek Road and make your way along the dirt road for about a mile to the trailhead.

If you have to park at the southern trailhead, plan to hike more like 4.5 miles in total, with 1.5 of that falling on the actual trail.

Description

Once you hit the trailhead, there is one main path that is pretty distinguishable that will lead you to the bridge. The trail does fork off once you get close. You can either go right to the top of Devil's Bridge or you can go left to admire the view underneath the bridge. I recommend doing both! The views from the bridge are gorgeous and it's fun to snap pictures of your friends in the middle. That said, be careful!

Did this trail via Chuck Wagon so it added 1.2 miles each direction totaling 4 miles. Great hike for the family, but cautious w/kids on climb and top. 1.6mi

Long trek from parking lot on a wide lane w/ 4x4s. Poles will greatly help the last 1/4 near the bridge as there's some rocky scrambling at the end.

Traci, John, Reddington, Wiley, Fennel, Juniper, and me. Super crowded and a lot of 4X4. But, Traci did a head stand on top of the bridge! 1.8mi
