This short spur trail breaks away from the Two Medicine Lake South Shore
trail and travels through a dry forest to the pretty, cascading Aster Falls. From there, the trail enters into more pines and steeply climbs with limited views until you reach the top of a ridge.
From the ridge, you have a wonderful perch looking down on Two Medicine Lake and across to the magnificent Rising Wolf Mountain. Turn around and look up the Aster Creek drainage to a crown of rocky summits in a variety of gray, tan, and red rocks.
