Description

Starting at the parking lot, headed southeast and follow the trail until you reach the small ridge with a fire road coming down it. At this point, I like to head up the switchbacks, climbing gently. This is an easy grade and very manageable.

After a total of about two miles, you'll reach a fire road; continue on the fire road gently losing and gaining elevation until you see the trail on the right that turns to singletrack. This part of the trail has great views and continues in a clockwise direction, leading you back to the parking lot.

For added fun include the Summit Loop to the water tower; this will add about 2 miles.
