West Boundary Trail connects Wall Lake to Festubert Mountain Route at the west boundary of Akamina-Kishinena Provincial Park. As shown here West Boundary Trail starts at Wall Lake close to the end of Wall Lake Trail. From Wall Lake the trail runs north following Wall Creek downstream to where the creek empties into Akamina Creek at the park boundary.

West Boundary Trail is in the recovering 2017 Kenow Wildfire burn area. Much greenery covers the hillsides due to all the new, low vegetation. At Wall Lake, the trail begins in a steep sided valley between two ridges. This valley slowly widens and after about 0.8 miles it really opens up as the bases of the ridges forming the valley are left behind. A few small side streams are crossed and Wall Creek is always nearby to the right/east.

West Boundary Trail ends after 1.5 miles when it reaches Festubert Mountain Route at the 0.9 mile mark along Festubert Mountain Route, which is 3.0 miles from the parking area at the Akamina Pass Trail trailhead along Akamina Parkway.
