Description

From the upper trailhead, the path descends into the canyon on steep grades. At 0.9mi the trail meets T234A (an alternate route down the West Side Rd) and follows a ridge to the lower TH on West Side Rd.

Flora & Fauna

Ponderosa pines typical of the higher areas of the Sacramento Mountains.
