Will need a discover pass

Description

From the trailhead on Hwy 206, climb a series of switchbacks and continue through nearby creeks and stands of ponderosa pine. The tread varies between double and singletrack along the way. There are several other trails to take from 110, or you continue upwards towards Saddle Mountain.

Make this an out and back or connect it to Mt. Kit Carson Loop Road or Trail 140 at the Saddle Mountain Junction. It's a very nice trail on its own, however. Enjoy!

Flora & Fauna

Deer, Ponderosa Pines, wild flowers
