Description

This trail starts near the Panola Mountain State Park Nature Center and is connected to Rockdale River Trail and Arabia Mountain Path. It is a paved, well-maintained trail, heading through the countryside. You'll share it with light traffic including bikers, runners, and walkers.

This part of the PATH trail system winds partially around scenic Upper Alexander Lake, a lookout point of Panola Mountain, and beautiful pine forest.

Flora & Fauna

Plenty of pine and deciduous trees, mossy rocks, and lichen. Wildlife is present. Prepare to see snakes, turtles, fish, bugs galore, and all matter of small, furry critters.
