Description

This starts/ends at the backranch and on a hot day, the sun will melt you on this trail. They cleared a lot of the trees (due to beetle kill), so you'll be climbing wide open hillsides for the duration.

Recently fixed (summer '14), some of the water crossings now have fancy raised walkways!

Running amongst the sage, I swear that stuff makes you run faster! Gore Range off in the distance.

Coming from the Back Ranch, on the road for a bit before you start the climb onto Soda Ridge Trail. Not a bad view of the Tenmile Range poking above the trees!
