Overview

This is the perfect dusk hike. There are some technical sections where foot placement is crucial, but for the most part you can just enjoy this beautiful forested trail.

Description

Take the obvious trail from the parking lot, follow the signs for Soda Creek after you go down a short steep hill. There is a moderate climb up Soda Creek Trail to get up to the Groovy Uvi Trail 9086 split, and it can be rather rooty and muddy in spots. Take care in the springtime not to damage the trails too badly.

The junction is ~.75 miles you can take a right and hit Groovy Uvi Trail 9086, such a fun short singletrack section (signed). Follow the sign for Groovy Uvi off of Soda Creek Trail, make sure to take a right at about 0.1 from that junction. Head down the trail to the right towards the abandoned tree stand to intersect back with the Soda Creek Trail after a mile on this trail.

Take the easy-rolling portion of Soda Creek Trail all the way back to the parking lot, where you left your car!
