Description

Jakle's Lagoon Trail is found at the parking area along Cattle Pt. Road. From the parking area take the trail to the left that heads into the woods. The trail meanders through the pretty woods for its entire length with options to take short side trails on the left/north to get a better view of ponds/lagoons and Griffin Bay.

At the 0.3 mile mark there is a fork in the trail. Stay left here to continue on Jakle's Lagoon Trail with its options for exploring the ponds and bayshore. After another quarter mile, around the 0.55 mile mark, Jakle's Lagoon comes into view on the left. Leaving Jakle's Lagoon behind, the trail climbs over a low forested hill around the 0.9 mile mark. Dropping down the other side of the hill, continuing in the woods, the trail crosses a dirt road at the 1.5 mile mark. At the 1.6 mile mark the trail eands as it reaches Cattle Pt. Road.
