Description

This trail starts down a steep section of switchbacks from the Tonto Trail. Once you reach the bottom of the switchbacks follow the stream bed all the way to the river. The creek bed is gravel and bedrock with a few sections of larger boulders, all quite easy to negotiate. During the spring, there may be water in the creek-bed that you can filter.
