Chicken Spring Lake on a cold, early May morning. Much of the lake is still iced over including a large portion with thin new ice formed last night.

Nearest mountains - Mount Anna Mills, 12,054 ft. (center right), and Mt. Goyot, 12,300 ft. (center left, gray face). Far distance are mountains of the Great Western Divide. Seen looking west-northwest from the PCT high on the Siberian Outpost ridge.
