Emerald Pools
[Suggest Edits]
Description
Depending upon water levels, Emerald Pools can be a true treasure of Zion National Park. If you time your visit right, and it has been a wet spring, the water cascading from the cliffside into Upper Emerald Pool and down to the Lower Emerald Pools is stunning. Rich in minerals, this life-giving water shines with an "emerald" glow.
If it has been a dry year or you're visiting the pools in late summer, skip this attraction and spend your time in other areas of the Park.
Short Hike: Follow the Emerald Pools hike description.
