For all visitors to the Golden Gate Recreation Area, this lookout packs a serious punch. Especially for visitors who don't have an entire day, this point is a great place to get some good photos of the Golden Gate Bridge, and potentially make some memories at the raptor center.

The hill itself is situated high above Diablo Point and is easily accessed along Conzelman Road. The high vistas here give great views of the entire Marin Headlands, with the spotlight being on the Golden Gate Bridge. While views of the bridge can be had in various places along the Marin Headlands, the extra elevation here gives visitors a changed perspective of the bridge's structure. Additionally, the entire city of San Francisco can be seen from the vantage point as well, which makes for some stunning views and great photography opportunities.

Another highlight of visiting Hawk Hill is the potential to see hawks. The Golden Gate Raptor Observatory located outside of the park often uses Hawk Hill as an outdoor classroom, and park rangers can often be seen teaching visitors both young and old about the native populations of hawks and other birds of prey that fall into the "raptor" category. On the Road: Located just off Conzelman Road, this area is easily accessible by car.
