Description

Far East starts off of Transfarm in the easternmost section of the Knoxville Urban Wilderness and connects to Burnett Creek Road. It starts with a short climb and goes through two gates before reaching the main downhill section. The trail is carved out of the rocky hillside, has very tight switchbacks, is off camber in a few sections. This trail can be used in conjunction with Burnett Creek Road, Transfarm, Creek Loop, and Chainring to add some extra mileage to a standard Knoxville Urban Wilderness Trail System - South Loop hike.
