Overview

Get your race on while enjoying the stunning views of the surrounding area! Between the varied topography and the great views you may forget your legs are tired!

Description

There is plenty of elevation change on this one-of-a-kind epic adventure through the different environments of the Marin County California coast. Highlights include open grasslands with views of the Pacific Ocean, San Francisco Bay and skyline as well as the rain forest of the Steep Ravine canyon and the famed Dipsea Trail for your finish.

The majority of the route is non-technical singletrack and there is a small amount of fire road; however, the Steep Ravine Trail and the last sections of the Dipsea Trail have some steps.

The start/finish/registration area for this race is at the Stinson Beach parking lot and there are four aid stations, one at the top of Cardiac Hill (you hit this one twice), one at Frank Valley Horse Camp, and another at the bottom of the Deer Park Fire Road on Muir Woods Road.
