Description

This trail is located right in the middle of the town of Shenandoah off Route 340, but you'll think you are back in the deep woods as you enjoy hiking this mile loop through the park. The trail is shared with mountain bikers and many people enjoy walking their dog on a leash, so you'll have some company, but that doesn't hinder the wild feel of this route.

Flora & Fauna

Whitetail deer, black bear, foxes and other critters. Ferns and white oaks.

Walked the trail yesterday. Trail is really clean and nice. Might have some water flowing through it today due to the rains yesterday.

My daughter and I walked our dog on leash. He loves walking the trail and cooling off in the pond on the way out. 1mi — 0h 30m
