Description

The Limberlost Trail is a fully accessible trail with a pressed gravel surface. Located at milepost 43, it is a circuit hike of 1.3 miles. It passes through forest and mountain laurel. This trail is especially beautiful in June during Spring bloom. On the hike, you'll cross a boardwalk and bridge. Benches are also located throughout the trail for a tranquil rest and time to enjoy your surroundings.

The trail is gently rolling as it winds through dense vegetation. The way is shaded and pleasant, and all visitors will appreciate the beauty of the area.

Flora & Fauna

When everything blooms in June, this trail is home to beautiful mountain laurel. Black bears have also been seen frequently along Limberlost.
