Family Friendly An easy route that enables the whole family to enjoy nature together.

Overview

An urban escape that leads visitors around a small lake in the middle of lush greenery. This short route is a great way to stretch your legs and get away from some of the bustle of the city.

Need to Know

There is a pier on the lake that occasionally will have someone fishing from it.

Description

From the trailhead, there is a dirt road that leads into the valley for a half mile to the lake. When you come up to the lake you can go in either direction as the path goes around the lake and back to the same spot. There are multiple trails that join with the main trail that leads to the surrounding community. There are about an even number of walkers and bikers so just be on the watch for bikers as the trail around the lake is quite narrow. The trail can get muddy especially after a recent storm.
