4th Lake at elevation 10,100. Blue Canyon is exciting only if you venture beyond the official end of the trail. This is not difficult.

Climbing Kettle Ridge, you'll have awesome views looking toward Monarch Divide. In late summer, this climb is dry, hot, and has no water. It's a mediocre hike until you get beyond this point.
