Need to Know

It is a management ares so make sure to wear orange!

Description

The trail is fairly moderate with some rocky areas and roots, but it rarely gets muddy even after a good rain. The scenery is lovely as it surrounds the pond, so it is likely you could see fish jumping, ospreys diving for food, and many other species of fauna during your hike. Fishing is allowed here (during the proper season) so be aware of that as well.

Flora & Fauna

Pine trees, fungi, water lilies, osprey, heron, ducks, geese, songbirds, frogs, fish, mosquitoes
