Description

From the small car part located on Donald McLean Road, this trail is a short and relatively easy hike to a spectacular viewpoint. From the highpoint near the summit of Mt. Donald McLean (Te-Rau-o-te-Huia), you'll enjoy stunning views of the Waitākere Ranges and Manukau Harbor. On a clear day, you may even be lucky enough to spot the volcanic cone of Mt. Taranaki far to the south.
