This trail is best utilized as an extension of the adjoining Russell Creek Greenbelt Trail. If not parking at the origin of that trail, then additional parking exists along Sutherland Lane near the small playground.

The trail follows along the northern bank of Russell Creek and provides you with a bit less-crowded option. It features many of the same components of the Russell Creek Greenbelt Trail, just on the north side of the creek.
