Family Friendly Using this trail as a cut-off point makes an enjoyable shorter loop when starting from the parking area on Weakley Hollow Road.

Hiking Alert for unsafe backcountry conditions and related trail closure - The 0.8-mile Whiteoak-Cedar Run Link Trail that connects the WhiteOak Canyon Trail to Cedar Run Trail is permanently closed as it was severely undercut by recent flooding in the nearby stream. As the stream eroded the stream bank, it caused downed trees and unstable ground. ....

Description

This connector trail can be used as a more direct route between Whiteoak Canyon and Cedar Run Trail as it avoids heading back toward the parking area and trailhead. Hugging the contours north past Halfmile Cliff, this trail maintains its elevation and provides a very manageable connection.
