Family Friendly Lots of creeks for kids to splash in!

If the water is really high it could be an issue if you aren't willing to get wet.

Description

This trail follows the Laurel Fork Creek from Station Camp Ford to the Sawmill Trailhead. It is a really beautiful trail with 20+ creek crossings depending on the water level. On average, the creek crossings will be no higher than your knees. Keep an eye out for beavers, and you'll surely see lots of beaver chews. For the most part this trail is pretty flat, but heading up to Sheltowee Trace going east is a pretty big uphill.

Started from John Litton Farm Loop Trailhead. The portion of trail just NE of Black House is nice, but much is overgrown & muddy with downed trees. 7.9mi — 5h 52m
