An excellent loop with great views make this a good alternative to the Mt. Si summit.

Description

Branching off the Mt. Si trail, this trail is much skinnier and less crowded. If you're not up for going to the summit of Mt. Si, this is a highly recommended alternative loop.

The trail winds in and out of drainages through tons of ferns and old growth forest. It's generally wetter and more lush where this trail travels compared to Mt. Si.

Near the top, you cross a talus field with outstanding views to the south, similar to those at the summit of Mt. Si.
