Family Friendly Easy trail along Tobin Harbor... and fun for the kids to watch the float planes land and take off in the harbor.

Description

The Tobin Harbor trail is a scenic trail along the shoreline of Tobin Harbor. The float planes that arrive at Rock Harbor land here, so keep an eye out for incoming planes.

It's a generally easy trail with some gradual climbs along the shoreline but connects the Rock Harbor area with the Mount Franklin Trail. The trail is well maintained and frequently used by hikers staying at the Rock Harbor Lodge or Campground.

Relaxing forested hike along the shoreline. Trail was soft with undulating character. Loved walking on a wet morning. 3.1mi
