Description

This hike provides amazing views of Snoqualmie Pass as well as Mt. Rainier, Mt. Adams, and Mt Stuart. It is fairly long and steep, and there isn't any water along the trail, so be sure to bring plenty along.

The hike is steep and very exposed, so it is best done in the spring and fall.

Start out at the Pratt Lake Trailhead and continue on the trail for a little over a mile until you come to a junction. Follow the sign to Granite Mountain.

There is one toilet available at the trailhead. Be sure to get to the parking lot early since this is a popular trail.

Granite Mountain is aptly named for its large scree field at top. Don't be fooled, this view takes 30-45 min on a nice day!
