Description

Start on King St just south of Memorial Park. Head east on the rail trail and pass over the highway (I-5). There are a couple of road crossings with traffic in the first mile so beware. Continue on the rail trail, pass over Alabama St on a large bridge with a great view of the bay and San Juan Islands. Around 2.5 miles you'll reach Whatcom Park and soon a major intersection. The Railroad Trail continues left past a pond to end at a three-way traffic light on the corner of Alabama Street and Electric Avenue.
