Description

Silver Forest Trail, a short nature trail, is one of many trails located in the Sunrise area. It is an easy trail that offers some of the very best vistas in the entire park. Set atop Sunrise Rim, this trail wanders eastward from the Emmons Vista Trail through mixed forest and meadows. Rainier and the Emmons Glacier set the backdrop for a foreground of vibrant wildflowers.

Nice easy walk. Wildflowers weren't quite blooming yet. Found a large concrete pad ~100 ft downhill from the trail. 1mi — 0h 55m
