Description

This network of trails can be somewhat confusing to navigate through. This trail follows green blazes with orange arrows. The trail starts from the trailhead off Whitney Brook Road and runs to the southwestern edge of the property. It arcs around (uphill) to a bench with a view. It climbs to the summit of a hill, then crosses over into the Deming, McDonald, & Norris Property.

It passes beneath the powerlines down to a small pond. From here, the trail becomes less maintained and a little more difficult to navigate. It climbs up towards Jones Hill, then turns left (following the New London/ Wilmot border). When you reach Langenau Brook Trail, continue forward left. The trail travels for 0.7 miles before ending at the Sunapee-Ragged-Kearsarge Greenway.

Flora & Fauna

Flora: Eastern Hemlock, Beech, Oak, Juniper.
