Description

This trail starts off Zealand Road, and heads eastward (following Forest Road 155). Continue forward left, where Wildlife Pond Trail veers off. The trail travels moderately for nearly 2.5 miles, then reaches the portion of trail that is no longer maintained. Here, you'll encounter downed trees and a swampy sponge-walk. After passing by the swamp, the trail ascends and becomes a little easier to travel. The trail arcs south to the junction with Mount Tom Trail and Mount Field Loop.
