Description
Amazing trail that heads out from Iron Lake. Iron Lake Trail #6093 is two miles long. It starts up a gradual incline through a pine forest and gradually gives way to the burn area. It is a singletrack mountain trail, so expect rocky terrain and other hazards. Trail becomes Hat Creek Lakes Trail #6093 where Hat Creek North Fork Trail #6092 connects (there is a small cairn at this spot).
Be sure to have the Hiking Project mobile app on your phone to cure any confusion while out. The trails in this area are not easy to get to and requires some planning. The views are more than worth it!
