Description

This trail starts from the end of the bridge cat-walk and runs around the island. Heading clockwise, it follows the road, then ducks into the woods. It crosses over a road, then crosses over the Presidential Rail Trail.

Here, looking to the left, you'll see a bridge. Going over the bridge and to the right will take you to the Mahoosuc Trail and the Cross New Hampshire Trail. The trail heads southward along the eastern edge of the island, along the power channel.

It turns right and comes out to a granite bench, dedicated to Peter Brockett. It turns right, passing by a cellarhole, and runs until it comes back out at the bridge cat-walk.
