Need to Know

This is a tough climb; be sure to bring enough water (especially on hot days).

Description

The only signage for this trail is at the junction of Rowell Link and Bald Mountain Notch Trail. It heads easterly along Bald Mountain Notch Trail then takes a sharp right around 0.1 miles. It climbs a steep fall line up to a junction where the trail splits. Turn left at the jumble of rocks to come out to some excellent views of the Percy Peaks.

It loops around following a rocky ledge on the backside of the mountain. At the next view opening, the trail turns right along a rocky slab. It's difficult to see where the trail goes from here; go all the way to the end of the rock slab (towards the woods) and descend. It continues back to the "lollipop stick".
