Description

This is simply an extension of a dirt/gravel road that was not mapped. The road is driveable but be cautious if it's been raining or snowing as it gets very muddy and drop-offs are steep. The road goes through some private land but is mostly within Nantahala National Forest. There are many old logging roads/trails that lead off of Dick's Creek Rd. and I plan on mapping these in the future. This is a beautiful section of high country and the entire road is all nature, just trees, creeks, birds, and a few open vistas.

Flora & Fauna

This is bear country so be cautious.
