Lower Basco offers a good alternate for looping the Barracks Fenceline and Mill Mountain trails together. It is good singletrack through sage with a couple of challenging, loose, sidehill spots.

Climb from the trees to continue climbing Mill Mountain trail and descend Rippey Canyon.

Alternatively, climb Baker Creek to contour and descend Mill Mountain, then connect to Lower Basco and close the loop.
