Description

You can hike "Big" Grandad either way.

Starting from the bottom, you drop down an embankment and cross over the creek. Start your way up, and stay left at the fork. You'll climb through some rooty sections down bottom then you'll get into some rocky areas.

Eventually, you'll cross a bridge on your right then continue upward. There are a few spots that get pretty muddy in the spring and fall that you'll encounter, so use the rocks to your advantage. At the end, there is a pretty steep climb for only 30 yards before you'll intersect with the Brushy Ridge Trail.
