Family Friendly An easy trail that shouldn't be too steep for anyone.

Description

The Sidewinder Trail connects to a network of ATV trails that go all over the area. Once you run into the first ATV trail you may want to follow it instead of this trail since the trail is starting to get overgrown a little; just be careful of the ATVs and motorcycles. The motorized vehicles should yield to you, but they may not see you around a corner with enough time to stop.

There are no facilities at the trailhead other than a large parking area and a loading ramp for ATVs. There is a pizza place and a small convenience store a few miles away at Heise Hot Springs.

Flora & Fauna

The sign warns of rattlesnakes but I didn't see any; did see some hawks though.
