Family Friendly The route is fairly straightforward to navigate, and youngsters will love the chance to admire the petrified wood along the way.

Description

The trail ascends very quickly offering nice views to the west across Wide Hollow Reservoir and to the east towards Escalante. After 0.3 miles the trail splits into a loop, keep right to follow the recommended direction. You'll encounter several magnificent pieces of petrified wood on the way.
