Description

From the car park on Omaha Valley Road, follow the markers through farmland until you get to the section of trail that heads through the native bush. The trail gradually turns into a steep climb with some scrambling. Take a right at the fork for Matakana Valley Road/ Mt Tamahunga and continue uphill to the summit.

This trail is best done as an out-and-back as getting back to the carpark from the other exits (Matakan Valley Rd or Pakari) is difficult as there is no public transport in this area.
