All unpaved trails are closed when wet to reduce trail damage and erosion. Please follow Leave No Trace principles and obey posted trail signs.

Description

This trail starts and terminates at the north and south ends of the Arbor Hills Loop. The trail is well-maintained and takes you the far west side of the preserve. You'll enjoy an equal amount of grassland and wooded forests with opportunities to see plenty of birds and only a few human visitors.

A great place to enjoy a hike with well-maintained trails, but be mindful of your footing as there are some exposed roots in places. At the northern end of the trail, there are several smaller connecting trails that will take you back to various trails on the Tower Trail and the Arbor Hills Loop.
