Snowy - Snowy, but trail was well-travelled / packed down. Didn’t wear snowshoes or microspikes and didn’t run into any problems.

Family Friendly The fairly easy terrain and an amazing view come together to make a great outing for the whole family.

Description

This route makes for a fairly easy outing with a great view at the summit of Mt. Willard. The journey is a round trip distance of about 3 miles. The trail has a few small streams to cross, but they are very easy to navigate and the trail is well marked. The hardest climb is in the middle of the trail, where grades steepen, but things mellow out after that.

Once you've enjoyed the views and a snack at the summit, simply return the way that you came to get back to your vehicle.

Awesome time with the rain and fog, at the top, the fog and the sun played peek-a-boo with us, giving us the glimpses of the mountains. 3.3mi
