Description

Starting from Clay Furnace Road Trail, this trail immediately begins to softly climb its way out of the valley, winding along the hillside slope.

Terrain over this trail is fairly smooth, with some rock and roots. The challenge is maintaining momentum over the 2 miles of climb and the slight undulations that can take the steam out of your legs.

Near the end, visitors will cross over a paved road and shortly after connect with the Roadside Trail.
