This 0.5 mile trail is great, especially when combined with the Woodpecker Run Trail to make a quick loop. This is also a great route to use as an alternative way to get back to the parking area after a long day on the Boundary Trail.

In several places along the way you'll see the old water line that carried water from the reservoir down to the secondary pump house. Take a moment to enjoy, as this is a relaxing and easy route, taking hikers on a gentle downhill back the car after bigger outings.
