This short, steep trail leads to a beautiful waterfall tucked beneath the rocky cliffs.

Features Lake · Waterfall

Family Friendly Although it's steep, it's short and leads to a great waterfall.

Description

This short, steep trail begins right off of the Many Glacier Road right before you reach the Many Glacier Hotel at a well-signed trailhead. The trail starts in a wide open, grassy meadow with stunning peaks in all directions.

The trail begins level, then steeply climbs through a forest, popping out at the base of the cliffs where the waterfall pours over as a stream of water. Turn around and enjoy the view of Lake Sherburne, Cracker Flats and the surrounding peaks. A little scrambling can bring you right up to the waterfall.

Flora & Fauna

Meadows in the spring have flowers. Bears frequent the meadows and Bighorn Sheep frequent the cliffs in this area. Animals such as moose can be spotted near the lake.

Short hike with good waterfall but going in is all uphill so don’t be fooled by the short distance

Well my tired legs got mad at me. But worth the pain. Bear in the field when we started. Bring spray and bell. — 0h 30m
