Hiked up to Windy Pass and turned around. Trail climbs to the pass through a lot of trees. Everything opens up at the pass - well worth it. 5.9mi — 2h 40m

Trail is on the South side of the Highway, parking is on the North side. We only saw one other couple on July 1st on the trail!
