Description

This trail is best done in the downhill direction as part of a loop. The descent begins gradually from the junction with Red and White Mountain Road, popping in and out of meadows which afford views across the valley towards Vail. The forested ridgeline alternates aspen groves and dense evergreen stands. The downhill plunge over the last hill towards the highway is challenging but beautiful. Note: bikes are allowed on this trail.
