Overview

A not-too-crowded trail that traverses south of Manitou Springs and provides some extra mileage to those looking for more than just The Manitou Incline. With this trail, you can go from section 16 - Red Rock Canyon to Barr Trail for multiple mileage options.

Description

This trail was just a dream for decades and only became a reality when a stubborn landowner finally gave up the fight. It was built in 2014 as a collaboration between the City of Manitou Springs, Medicine Wheel Trail Advocates, and Tony Boone as the prime trail contractor.

It boasts outstanding views, lots of climbing, and alternates between singletrack, some doubletrack road, and steep trail. There are occasional sections of roads that connect the trails, also.

North face still has some icy spots at the beginning. Easily managed without microspikes
